We had snow on Sunday all day in Minnesota and a few people are out having fun in it.
See this guy, with no helmet or gloves. He is not as safe as a MSTA Member, that believes in ATGATT.

For Sale / For sale: 2016 Candy Lime Green Versys 1000 LT
« Last post by brider on March 21, 2024, 12:51:03 PM »
Well maintained 2016 Kawasaki 1000 LT Synthetic oil used since new and changed every 7k. Air filter and battery replaced this past fall. Tires replaced at 55,120, chain and sprockets changed out at 53,464. Tupperware is in good shape. Extras include heated grips, Seat Concepts saddle, Kaoko throttle lock and SW Moto crash bars. Bike is ready to ride anyway you want to go. KBB has trade in at $6100. Your price $5000. It certainly isn't a garage queen with 59K on the clock but the price is more than fair.  Only reason I'm selling it is I ran across another 2016 model with 6300 on it and the price was right.  Bike is located in Tipp City OH. Pics available on request.  Call me if you want more details 937-250-2761

Maybe I imagined that I read that, or maybe I lied about that part, Tom.  ;D

I keep getting email newsletters from them so far.  Their website is still active the last time I clicked. Maybe I'm the one who should be retiring if I read it and didn't remember.  ;)     TM

Ditto on the RKA's for soft bags. I have tank, tail and side bags I've used on several bikes maybe 30 years. Doesn't have the particular benefits of hard bags but there is always tase offs. Our friends Rick & Kathy at RKA is still in business and long time club members supporters.

As it turns out after all these years I have never used after market hard bags. My .02.   TM

I've used the same GIVI top box for @ least 20 years that has been on at least 10 bikes.  This one has survived get offs at speed and has never leaked.  Thumbs up on Givi.

As far as tank bags go stay away from Nelson Riggs.  I've trashed 2 due to zippers.  I have had good luck with RKA.

Hope this helps you some.

I’ve never used Shad but I’ve had GIVI and liked them. Only problem I’ve ever had has been with the keys getting weak and breaking off after several years, but that can happen with any key over time.
