Title: Newbie to MSTA
Post by: CinzaGTL on January 03, 2019, 09:27:12 AM
New MSTA member since last month.
I had the pleasure of meeting some folks at the Laisley's Crab House on 12/15. I also attended the New Year's Day Lunch Ride last Tuesday and got to hang out with some old friends. At the end of the day I logged 480 miles. Nothing can be more therapeutic than that.  :)

Hoping to attend many more events in the future.

Lucky you, in Florida and enjoying the riding season still. Most of us northern types (I'm in Michigan) haven't ridden in at least a couple months. Enjoy and hope to see you at a future rally or maybe STAR 2019 in Bristol.

Thanks Rich.  :trink39:
We are indeed fortunate to have an almost non-stop riding season.
I am making plans to attend the local rides for sure and eventually make it to a rally.

Thank you Carl and Happy New Year to you as well.
[/size]I have been checking the Website and the forum so I can get to know more about MSTA. I will definitely look into the benefits.
Thanks for the info.

Welcome from central KY.  Hope to see you at one of our regional rallies and of course STAR!  Riding since 1971 on a Honda CL350 to 3 Harleys and now full circle on a couple gl1800s.

Welcome from Northern Kentucky.  Florida has a good group of people and this time of year they are very active, especially when compared to many other areas.  Of course, not all of us live in places like Michigan and many of us can get out at least a couple of days a month, even during the winters.  (Sorry Rich...move south!  😁 ). April is when things really start get busy for the club and there are many opportunities in the mid-south and other areas to meetup with other club members from April-October.  Hope you can make it to one or more of them this year.

Thank you Patrick.
The folks here are busy planning several events and they do an excellent job at it. That's why they make the big bucks... ;D ;D
I have attended the New Years ride a few weeks ago and will be attending this Saturday lunch at Everglades City.
Looking forward to attending some out-of-state events soon.

When I took on the SD position I was told that “ we would pay you want your worth, but we don’t think you’ll work for nothing”.

Fooled them, didn’t I?

LOL

LOL
And when you took on VP they said we'll pay you twice your current pay, such a deal.
