Title: Star 2015 - Area Events
Post by: Neirbog on January 16, 2015, 02:03:08 PM
There are events in the area during STAR 2015 that you might want to consider.
We'll start adding items to this as we get closer.

The track at Hallett, OK will be having motorcycle lapping days (track days) on the Sunday and Monday of STAR.
If you have considered doing a track day, this might be a great time to start your addiction.  The track has some technical features that lend itself to a good learning experience.  The price is about $ 130 including track instruction and class.  Everyone has to attend the Hallett Advanced Rider Training (HART) class the first time at the track.  They have great instructors with classroom and track instruction.

Bentonville BMW will be serving lunch on the Saturday before Star for the BMW Crane rally and has invited all MSTA riders to come for lunch. They are a great dealership and support riders of all makes and models.  If you are a BMW rider, you might want to come early and attend the Crane rally.

Crystal Bridges Museum - We highly suggest that you take in the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville during your visit.  This is a world class art facility with wonderful special exhibits. It was established by the Walton family and is open free to the public. The walking nature trails are also a great place to stretch your legs. We will post the events scheduled during star in a later post.
More to come....
