Look forward to seeing you in Marietta Iggy Joe. Hope you enjoy your time, I'd strongly recommend sampling some of the roads in SE Ohio that go back and forth from the Ohio River, I know they had one that just zig-zagged all the way (26 north, then 260 to the river, 800 back up, and keep repeating. OH 78 from its east ending at OH7 (along the river) heading west (uphill) is a blast of high speed sweepers.

And depending on how long you have to get here WV16 from one end of the state to the other (plus VA 16 around Hungry Mother) are a hoot.

I hope to be in Marietta as well. Waiting for work meeting this weekend and then should know for sure if able to go. And I can vouch for all those roads my brother Steve mentions. I was on many of them with him just a couple weeks ago on our Epic Two Brothers trip. Still smiling from it.

Thanks bro. Wish we would've gotten one with you also. Next time. We need to do another trip again, sooner than later.

Sign exiting the Blue Ridge Parkway. Fun 80 miles or so.

I was there and took the picture, its the only reason I know.

Wish I had a picture of the big grin on his face when we stopped on VA16 at Hungry Mother State Park sign, I believe his words were "WOW that's an awesome road!".

Well RichGrab, I should have waited to see if the Production dept would get their backsides in gear before I started this thread...

I have just been informed that Production is working 6 days a week at least for the rest of the fiscal year, which means that Maint./ Engineering is on mandatory 6 days a week as well. Hopefully I will have enough vacation time next year to make it to the flyby. Y'all have a great time I will be there in spirit.

Aargh, Iggy Joe, bummer that you won't make it. I am still somewhat up in the air. Like the Cleveland Browns say - There's always next year.  ;)

I don't know what kind of room Joe had, but I'm supposed to have a room with 2 beds. The fellow that was going to share my room has had to punt, so I'm looking for a room mate for the weekend. If you need a room and want to split the cost, please let me know.
